Calaveras Mariposa Community Action Agency (CMCAA)
Offering a variety of programs to low income Calaveras and Mariposa residents.

Energy
Our Home Energy Program provides low-income residents of Calaveras County by assisting with PGE or propane bills and energy saving home improvements that may include weather stripping, insulation and appliances, as well as education on reducing energy costs and budget counseling.

Eligibility Requirements for all Energy Programs
Residents must submit a completed application and other documentation to apply for benefits. Note that:

Applicant must be a citizen of the United States

Applicant must be a resident of the County in which they are applying for service.

Renters must have permission of the homeowner for Energy Efficiency improvements.

No need to apply in-person. You can submit your application via USPS mail or fax. If you do stop by outside of business hours, you can also drop-off in our outside dropbox in Jackson.
