Substance Solutions for Amador Youth
The SSAY Coalition brings together youth, parents, educators, healthcare providers, law enforcement, and community organizations across Amador County with one shared goal: preventing and reducing youth substance use and supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our young people.
We believe local problems need local solutions — and that young people belong at the center of the work.
Monthly Coalition Meetings
Everyone is welcome at SSAY Coalition meetings — youth, parents, educators, community partners, and anyone who cares about the wellbeing of Amador County’s young people. Come see how we use awareness, education, and community resources to prevent and reduce youth substance use, and help shape what we do next.
Youth are especially encouraged to attend — your voice drives this work.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Meetings are welcoming and practical. A typical agenda includes coalition updates, a look at local youth data, planning for upcoming events and campaigns, and time for community input. First-timers are always welcome — no preparation needed. Just come curious.
